Selina was born and raised in Aichach (near Augsburg). She studied chemistry at Ulm University and joined the Delius Group for her master thesis in 2018. She had the opportunity to work with Sebastién Ulrich, PhD, at the CNRS in Montpellier (France) and with Prof. Han Vos at Dublin City University (Ireland) and gained working experience within an internship at tesa SE (Norderstedt) in the department for Research and Development. She is currently working on the development of novel anion and ion-pair receptors. Besides work, she enjoys rock climbing, photographing and painting.
