Biosketch

Hendrik joined the Delius lab as a research associate in September 2021. He was born and raised in Germany and studied chemistry at Freie Universität in Berlin. He prepared his doctoral thesis as FCI fellow under guidance of Prof. Dr. Schalley working in the fields of switchable rotaxanes and supramolecular electrochemistry. Afterwards he worked for two years, supported by a DFG fellowship, in the group of Prof. Link at Princeton University (NJ, USA). His current research interests include functional (bio)molecules, organic synthesis and supramolecular chemistry. Outside the lab, he likes sports, photography, traveling and electronic music.
