Rafael Da Silva Rodrigues, MSc
Rafael was born and raised in Brussels (Belgium). He studied at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) where he obtained his degree in 2015. He then succeeded a position as a PhD student at the Queensland University (QUT) under the supervision of Dr. Kathleen Mullen. In the Mullen group he is looking into the improved attachment of rotaxanes onto polymer surfaces. He is currently working at the University of Ulm under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Max von Delius where he is investigating the adaptation of dynamic covalent chemical reaction of orthoesters for the formation of [n]rotaxanes. His hobbies include jogging, swimming, arts and literature.
